James Doyle, PhD
Faculty, WPI
Focusing on psychology and human decision factors, James's research and teaching merge the quantitative aspects of decision making and risk analysis with the human factors inherent in system dynamics. He is a member of the American Psychological Society, Society for Judgment and Decision Making, and Society for Risk Analysis. He is an Associate Professor at WPI.
Bob Eberlein, PhD
Bob is primarily a software developer and was instrumental in the development of a system dynamics modeling tool. His research has focused on analysis of dynamic models, applying statistics to dynamic models, and the dynamics of national development, project management, marketing, telecommunications, and manufacturing. He has taught at the University of Alberta in Canada.
Andrew Ford, PhD
Faculty, Washington State University
Andrew teaches system dynamics modeling with an emphasis on energy and environmental problems. His research uses system dynamics to study public policy making on energy and the environment, with a special focus on the electric power industry. He is Professor of Environmental Science at Washington State University.
Jennifer Kemeny, ABD
System Dynamics Consultant
Jennifer Kemeny is a highly respected and influential consultant in the fields of system dynamics and systems thinking as it applies to a wide variety of profit and non-profit industries including energy, telecommunications, and consumer products.
James M. Lyneis, PhD
Consultant; Faculty, WPI; Past President, System Dynamics Society
A consultant in the fields of strategic management and system dynamics, Jim's research has focused on project and economic dynamics, market and industry behavior, forecasting and business strategy. He previously held a teaching position at WPI.
John Morecroft, PhD
Faculty, London Business School
A leading expert in strategic modeling and system dynamics, he has written numerous papers, journal articles, co-edited three books, and wrote a system dynamics textbook Strategic Modelling and Business Dynamics (Wiley 2007). Michael J. Radzicki, PhD
Michael J. Radzicki, PhD
Faculty, WPI; Past President, System Dynamics Society
Michael J. Radzicki, PhD
Mike's focus is on combining Post Keynesian economics and Institutional economics with system dynamics computer simulation modeling to create a more powerful form of heterodox economics. Mike's current research involves the creation of a Post Keynesian-Institutional-System Dynamics macroeconomics model that will be used to develop policies for helping nations achieve full employment and price stability. Additionally, he is working on a book that traces the history of economic thought via system dynamics. He is an Associate Professor of Economics at WPI.
Khalid Saeed, PhD
Faculty, WPI; Past President, System Dynamics Society
Focusing on sustainable economic development, Khalid uses system dynamics as his research method. His studies regard policies as structural and institutional changes in a system which alter the system's internal tendencies. He is a Professor of Economics & System Dynamics at WPI and past president of the System Dynamics Society.
James P. Thompson, PhD
Consultant, Health Care Industries
As a consultant, Jim applies system dynamics methodology to help clients resolve persistent strategic issues with emphasis on health care economics and the impact of pharmaceuticals and other medical technologies. Jim’s research interest is in how people learn to solve dynamically complex problems. He holds a teaching position with Duke University and is based in Singapore.
Kim Warren, PhD
Principal, Strategy Dynamics, Ltd.; Faculty, London Business School
Kim's work focuses on Strategy Dynamics - a fact-based approach to understanding and delivering business performance through time. This includes an emphasis on business performance following its current path, the results if current paths are followed, and the design of alternate strategies to improve future performance.
