Orientation for New Students
Welcome to WPI's Virtual Campus
Distance learning courses are delivered online through myWPI, our learning and information portal, located at my.wpi.edu. This portal is where you will access all of your lectures and course materials, and where you will interact with your professor and other students using online communication tools.
The tutorials below will give you a step-by-step introduction to the myWPI system, and will get you started on accessing your courses and general course tasks such as participating in online discussions or submitting electronic assignments.
To watch the tutorials, you will need to download the Windows Media Player version 9.0 or higher. This is a free, secure download. This player is also required for course content. If you can watch the videos below, you should have no problems accessing streaming files in your courses. If you have trouble viewing these tutorials, please contact online@wpi.edu.
