Streaming Media Optimization Tips
Online students often need to watch streaming video for their courses. Be aware that corporate fire walls may prohibit their employees from watching any outside videos. Some students find they can access course videos only from their home computers.
For best viewing results, we recommend you check your computer to be sure you have the following installed:
Plus, either of these browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+
- Netscape Navigator, version 6.0+
- FireFox, version 1.5 or greater
Linux users should be able to view video using either Avifile or MPlayer.
Mac users should be able to view video using Flip4Mac.
