Fire Protection Engineering Programs

In recent decades, the practice of fire protection engineering has emerged as a sophisticated, challenging, and demanding profession. However, few universities offer the course work required for advancement in this field. In 1993 WPI began delivery of fire protection engineering courses to off-campus students via its distance learning network. Today, WPI remains one of only two universities in the United States offering graduate degrees in fire protection engineering and the only one to offer a master of science entirely from a distance. Mechanical Engineering
